"Cypress Station Grill" opened on June 9, 2008. Although the restaurant is fairly new, the owner is not new to the business. Paul grew up in Corpus Christi and moved to Houston in 1970. He started in the restaurant business in 1980 when he opened up Paul’s Shrimp & Oyster Boat on Richmond Avenue, next to Sam’s Place. The restaurant on Richmond was sold to Sam’s and became Sam’s Boat in 1985.

In December 1983 he opened up Paul’s on Highway 6. He ran the restaurant on Highway 6 from 1983 until September 2003 when he sold it.

Paul Bellow, owner, is a native of Texas, born in Beaumont. Standing along side of him is his wonderful wife Jean.
